About Us

Designing beautiful outdoor spaces to enjoy with the ones you love.

Based in Brisbane, Green Spirit Landscapes provides a personal, collaborative Landscape Design service to create stunning, sustainable yet functional gardens

I provide samples of plants and materials throughout the process, allowing you to touch, feel, smell and see the colours and textures of your design as it takes shape.

The end result will be a designer garden which honours both function and form. It will be beautiful and creative, while also sympathetic to the natural landscape for a hardy, water-wise result.

Sue Wellburn, Landscape Designer.

Experience

My love for working with natural landscapes began in Africa, where I spent time working in the bush and sparked a deep appreciation for native flora. That connection and inherent love, combined with my creative instinct, led me to pursue landscape design professionally. I completed my studies with Linda Grey of The School of Garden Design cc. and have been designing gardens ever since.

Creativity

Each project I take on is entirely unique. I’m inspired by the individuality of every space and the people who will inhabit it. I particularly enjoy creating sustainable native gardens that feel both functional and inviting, layered with outdoor entertainment areas and lush peaceful corners.

Sustainability

I like to design at the intersection of form and function. I work creatively with water-wise plants and low-maintenance designs to ensure that your garden is not only optimised for our climate, but that it has rewarding pockets of colour and interesting displays throughout the year.

Collaborative Approach

Collaboration is an essential part of my process. I enjoy shaping ideas together with clients and allowing the design to evolve in a way that reflects both their needs and the space itself.. For those who are curious and eager to learn, I am always happy to share my knowledge along the way, so that once the garden is complete, it can be confidently maintained and truly enjoyed.

The shared sense of achievement at the end of a project is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

I look forward to helping you realise your dream garden.
