About Green Spirit Landscapes

Based in Brookfield west of Brisbane, Green Spirit Landscapes provides a personal, collaborative garden design service dedicated to creating stunning, sustainable yet functional outdoor areas.

Designing beautiful custom outdoor spaces for you to enjoy with the ones you love

We’re all about low maintenance garden design, with a focus on good use of space, harvesting water, capturing power and providing organic healthy food for the table.

When you engage our landscape design consultant, the end result will be a garden which honours both function, form and reward. It will be beautiful and creative, while also sympathetic to the natural landscape for a hardy, water-wise result - so important with our Australian climate.

From acreage landscaping to new home and native garden design, you can view some of our previous work on the Projects page - or reach out today to book your landscape consultation.

Meet Sue Wellburn,
Landscape Design Consultant

Experience

My love for working with natural landscapes began in Africa, where I spent time working in the bush, sparking a deep appreciation for native flora. That connection and inherent love, combined with my creative instinct, led me to pursue landscape design professionally. I completed my studies with Linda Grey of The School of Garden Design cc. and have been designing gardens ever since.

Creativity

Each project I take on is entirely unique. I’m inspired by the individuality of every space and the people who will inhabit it. I particularly enjoy low maintenance garden design projects that feel both functional and inviting, layered with outdoor entertainment areas and lush peaceful corners.

Sustainability

I like to design at the intersection of form and function. I work creatively with water-wise plants and low-maintenance designs to ensure that your garden is not only optimised for our climate, but that it has rewarding pockets of colour and interesting displays throughout the year.

Collaborative Approach

Collaboration is an essential part of my process. I enjoy shaping ideas together with my clients, allowing the design to evolve in a way that reflects both their needs and the space itself. For those who are curious and eager to learn, I am always happy to share my knowledge along the way, so that once the garden is complete, it can be confidently maintained and truly enjoyed.

The shared sense of achievement at the end of a project is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

I look forward to helping you realise your dream garden.
